From what age can children use the slides?
For most Aquaworld slides, the child’s height, rather than their age, is the primary factor determining whether they can use a particular slide.
Some children’s slides also have age restrictions.
How tall do children need to be to use the Aquaworld giant slides?
Depending on the slide, a minimum height of 120, 130 or 140 cm is required to use the giant slides.
Height is measured to the top of the head.
Which slides require a minimum height of 140 cm?
The following giant slides starting from Level 5 of the slide tower require a minimum height of 140 cm:
- Whirlwind,
- Kamikaze,
- Flying Carpet.
Which slides require a minimum height of 130 cm?
A minimum height of 130 cm is required for, among others:
- the UFO slide,
- the Black Hole slide,
- the Onion slide,
- the Mountain River slide.
In addition to the 130 cm minimum height requirement, the Onion slide requires confident swimming skills.
Which slide requires a minimum height of 120 cm?
The Rainbow slide can be used from a minimum height of 120 cm.
Is there a height restriction for the Family slide?
The Family slide is not subject to the 120, 130 or 140 cm minimum height restrictions that apply to the larger slides.
What age children can use the children’s pool slides?
The Wave and Jungle slides in the children’s pool may only be used by children aged 3–10.
Which slide can a child who is 120 cm tall use?
From a height of 120 cm, the Rainbow slide can be used.
Slides with a minimum height requirement of 130 or 140 cm cannot yet be used.
Which slide can a child who is 130 cm tall use?
With a minimum height of 130 cm, children can use, among others, the UFO, Black Hole, Onion and Mountain River slides.
Confident swimming skills are also required to use the Onion slide.
Which slides can a child who is 140 cm tall use?
At a height of 140 cm or above, and provided that all other safety requirements are met, the large giant slides, including the Whirlwind, Kamikaze and Flying Carpet, can also be used.
Where is children’s height checked?
The height required for using the slides is checked and registered at Aquaworld’s designated information and first-aid point.
Do you need to know how to swim to use the slides?
Confident swimming skills and adequate physical fitness are required for the safe use of the slides.
For the Onion slide, confident swimming skills are an explicit requirement.
Can the slides be used at your own risk?
Yes, provided that the height restrictions are observed. All guests may use the attractions and slides at their own responsibility, taking into account their health condition and in compliance with the Aquaworld House Rules.
